HHS Launches Athletic Hall of Fame

With so many great athletes from Hackettstown High School over the years, it was only a matter of time that they receive their full due.

Superintendent David C. Mango and The Hackettstown Board of Education in conjunction with Hackettstown High School, has announced that an effort has started to initiate an Athletic Hall of Fame (HOF).

A seven member committee, comprised of current administration, coaches and alumni, has been formed. The HOF will consist of players, coaches, teams and special contributors who have distinguished themselves during their time connected to Hackettstown Athletics. The first class of inductees will be announced at the April 26th Board of Education Meeting. Individuals are encouraged to identify a special player, coach, team or contributor whom they believe should be considered for the HOF.

The deadline to nominate candidates for the Inaugural Class of 2017 is Friday, March 17. To nominate a deserving candidate and to obtain more information please visit http://www.hackettstown.org/Page/8623
