Creative, thoughtful and occasionally surprising.
These are words that could describe the more than 200 posters submitted by Warren County students in grades 4-12. Each of the winners of this year’s “Follow Me, I Choose to be Alcohol Free” poster contest, were presented with a ribbon at an annual awards ceremony held at Warren County Community College and school assemblies during the month of June. The fourth annual poster contest was initiated by Paul Rinaldi, President of the Warren County PTA and member of the Warren County Coalition for Healthy & Safe Communities. The Coalition is a program of the Family Guidance Center.
“We had a very good turnout this year,” said Diane Bonelli, Supervisor of the program.”The students were very, very passionate about expressing their views on anti-drinking.”
Students from throughout Warren County participated in this year’s contest. All entries were on display at Gibson’s Gym in downtown Washington Borough during the Washington Borough Business Improvement District’s Annual Arts and Sweets Festival.

4th Grade:
1st Place- Angelina Raia, Franklin
2nd Place- Emma Ricci, Allamuchy
3rd Place- Bella Metternich, Allamuchy
Honorable Mention- Jennifer Jacobson, Allamuchy

5th Grade:
1st Place- Sierra Perst, Greenwich
1st Place- Ahren Redd, Mansfield
2nd Place- Avey Ritt and Anna Turso, Greenwich
3rd Place- Olivia Iannitelli, Aivy Ho and Angela Lopes, Greenwich
Honorable Mention- Ella Choi and Leah Riewerts, Greenwich

6th-8th Grade:
1st Place- Jacob Daubert, Oxford
2nd Place- Nicole Magistrado, Franklin
