Belvidere Class of ’66 Plans 50th Reunion

The Super Bowl wasn’t the only thing hitting the big 5-0 milestone this year. Belvidere High School’s Class of ’66 graduated 50 years ago this June and the reunion to mark the occasion is one not to be missed.

Organizer B.J. Kovacs Wooldridge is reaching out on all channels to connect with fellow ’66 Seaters to make sure there is a great turnout for this once in a lifetime event.

The reunion is scheduled for the weekend of Aug. 12-13 at Flynn’s on the Hill in Phillipsburg.

The popular special events venue will host the class of ’66 on a first-come basis on Friday evening, Aug. 12, for live music. Friday is free to attend with optional cash bar and food. The following day the venue is reserved for the “official” get-together.

Running from noon to 5 p.m., the reunion Saturday includes a meal, DJ and dancing, and favors. Wooldridge also plans to have door prizes and prize donations are greatly appreciated.

The cost to attend Saturday is $50 per person.

Wooldridge encourages attendees to bring photos from high school to jog the memory and add to the fun!

For more information about the event and to RSVP, 1966 Belvidere High School graduates can contact B.J. Kovacs Wooldridge at bjwooldridge@bellsouth.net by March 1.
