Community Singers Say: ‘Hooray For Hollywood’

Music from the movies will dominate the Warren County Community Singers Cabaret Café on Saturday, Nov. 4 at Grace Lutheran Church, Roseberry Street, Phillipsburg.

The Singers, a non-audition, group under the direction of Hunter Chadeayne, presents the Cabaret each autumn. Previous cabarets have featured show tunes, doo-wop and love songs.

The Cabaret will begin at 7:30 p.m. Singers perform solo and in small groups and provide coffee and desserts. Come to hear some great singing.

Suggested donation is $10.

WCCS will hold its Winterfest of Song Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 2 and 3. The Saturday concert is at 7:30 p.m. at Grace Lutheran. The Sunday concert at 3 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Washington, where the group rehearses every Tuesday night from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. The singers also sponsor the Warren County Children’s Chorus. The children rehears from 6:30 to 7:30 before the adults rehears. They perform their Springfest of Song in early May.

Warren County Community Singers are partially funded by a grant from the Warren County Cultural & Heritage Commission.
