Tyler Smith, a 2016 graduate of Warren County Community College, and Shelly Jaronsky, food and travel blogger and author of “The Cookies & Cups Cookbook,” have been appointed to the WCCC Foundation Board.

In addition, Crystal Piela and Alyson Zaycer were both reappointed for another 3-year term.

Smith, who was very active at WCCC as a student, is currently a real estate agent with Keller Williams in Clinton.

“I want to help out at WCCC because WCCC helped me out as a student,” said Smith, a graduate of Belvidere High School. “I think I can bring a perspective to the board as a former student and someone who still has peers here.”

Smith, who earned a business degree at WCCC, has been very active in alumni events and fundraising activities for the Foundation and college groups.

Jarnosky, who grew up in Texas, has been living in Warren County since 2002. In addition to her blogging activities, she collaborates with brands such as Pillsbury, Target, eBay, Disney, and Kellogg’s, to name a few. In April, Simon & Schuster published her first cookbook, “The Cookies and Cups Cookbook.”

“Tyler and Shelly both bring something different to the mix of our Board,” said Lori Page, Foundation Chair. “Tyler clearly has a feel for how our traditional students are thinking and Shelly offers us some corporate knowledge through her connections.”
