Jesse Barreiro of Hackettstown has joined the office of Assemblyman John DiMaio as a Legislative Aide.
Barreiro, who has a law degree and an MBA from DePaul University in Chicago, has a diversified background in numerous areas, making him an excellent choice for the position.
“Jesse’s knowledge and expertise, particular with law and finance, gives him an edge in understanding the complexities of state government,” said DiMaio. “His input will be an asset for our office.”
“I am really looking forward to this opportunity and the challenges it brings.” said Barreiro.
The graduate of the College of New Jersey was actively involved in many activities while in Chicago. Among them, he was Investigations Coordinator for the HOPE Fair Housing Center, which investigated allegations of housing discrimination.
In his duties as Legislative Aide, Barreiro is responsible for constituency communications,reviewing of assembly bills, and other related functions.
