The Washington United Methodist Church and Home Instead Senior Care are teaming up to host a free educational workshop to discuss prescription management for seniors.

Thursday, March 10, from 6 to 8 p.m., seniors and family members are invited to learn about management challenges and potential health risks.

Home Instead, Inc., found in research of the subject that as the number of prescription medications a senior aged 70 or over is prescribed to take, health risks and management issues also increase. The goal of the program is to strengthen the role families can take to help reduce their senior loved one’s potential for medication-related health risks, and to help them feel confident about their seniors being safe at home.
