Postponed: “Hoops To Help” HS Showcase Scheduled Sunday

Basketball fans looking for a good game for a good cause this weekend should head over to the County College of Morris on Sunday for the Hoops to Help Basketball Showcase, featuring the Hackettstown Tigers.

The event, in its inaugural year, benefits Goryeb Children’s Hospital in Morristown Medical Center, Children’s Tumor Foundation, and Morris County Food Bank.

Running all afternoon on Sunday, Jan. 24, the showcase includes some of the best teams and players in the Northwest Jersey and Union County Conferences across four games.

The cost is only $8 per adult and $5 for students. Top notch Hackettstown will have a tough competition against Elizabeth at 4 p.m.

The day will kick off at 12:30 p.m. with Hanover Park versus Delbarton. West Morris Central faces Arthur L. Johnson at 2:15 p.m., and the day rounds out with Chatham versus Linden at 5:45 p.m.

Doors open at 11:30 a.m.

County College of Morris is located at 214 Center Grove Road in Randolph.
