Kids Can Attend “College” This Summer; Programs Start July 11

Children looking to get a start at college “early on” are invited to sign up for a variety of programs this summer as part of Warren County Community College’s Summer Youth Enrichment Programs.

There are five weeks of educational and fun-filled programs including the weeks of July 11th  and 18th and Aug. 1st , 8th  and 15th  with classes for children from ages 7 to 17. Programs run Monday through Thursday and are held on the main campus of WCCC, on Route 57, Washington Township.

New programs include “Crazy Contraptions”, which integrates science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, by building a wide range of gadgets; Introduction to Vex IQ Robotics, building, designing and programming robots; Social Etiquette and Dining Skills Fun; and Minecraft Animators, with characters coming to life!

Annual favorites such as Make Your First Video Game, Art Attack, Acting Workshop, Babysitting Basics, Legos, Girls Rule!, Super Science Make It & Take It, Chemical Wizardry, CSI – Crime Scene Investigation, Writing & Publishing Your Very Own Book, Diggin’ For Dinosaurs, Rockin’ Rocks, & Crystal Creations, and Make Your First 3-D Video Game are also offered this summer.
