Mt. Olive Chamber Hosts Mayors Breakfast

Hackettstown Mayor Maria DiGiovanni and Mount Olive Township Mayor Rob Greenbaum will be the guests of honor at the Mount Olive Area Chamber of Commerce’s 11th Annual Breakfast with the Mayors on Tuesday, Jan. 24.

 

The mayors will look back on the business climate in their respective towns in 2016 and update chamber members and members of the business community at-large on their goals for 2017 as they relate to the business community.

 

As part of the meeting, there will be an opportunity for attendees to ask questions and make suggestions.


Chamber officials will also take the opportunity to discuss “the Chamber’s role with township leaders and other Chamber initiatives for 2017, and introduce the new Chamber Leadership Team for the new year.  


The meeting is open to the business community at-large, as well as the general public. 

 

The breakfast meeting is being presented and hosted by the Longhorn Steakhouse at ITC Crossing, starting at 7:30 a.m. Cost is $20 in advance, $25 at the door for Chamber members and $30 for guests. 

 

Meanwhile, it is membership renewal time. Marketing in the Morning, a complimentary benefit to members of the Chamber ($10 for all others), takes place the 3rd Wednesday morning of every month from 7:15 to 9 a.m. The next MIM takes place on Jan. 18 and will be held at the Mount Olive Township Building. The Chamber also provides a monthly program for the area Young Professionals to meet and network at a variety of locations, as well as a monthly Women’s Professionals group, which meets the second Tuesday of every month. A special event has been scheduled for Feb. 16 with the chamber hosting its annual bus trip to a NJ Devils hockey game in Newark sponsored by a variety of members.
