Pack 222 Holds Annual Food Drive

Cub Scout Pack 222 members Jason Misertino, Aiden Knickerbocker, Matthew Jupiter, and Nathan Misertino, spent the day out in the cold to collect food donations for The Lord's Pantry in Hackettstown.

Mansfield Pack 222 Cub Scouts collected food pantry donations on Dec. 4 for the Lord’s Pantry at Trinity Church in Hackettstown. The food drive resulted in almost 1,000 pounds of non-perishable goods collected. The community service project was held at the Washington ShopRite on Route 31. The troop also accepted monetary donations, which were given to the Lord’s Pantry for future purchases.

Pack 222 is chartered by the Mansfield Fire Co. No. 1 in Port Murray.

The Lord’s Pantry is a food distribution ministry that provides free food to Hackettstown area residents in need. The pantry is located in the “Barn,” adjacent to Trinity Church’s parking lot. You can learn more about the Lord’s Pantry on its website.
