William E. Dunscombe, Jr., an expert on the Pine Barrens, is presenting a slide show presentation on arguably New Jersey’s most pristine natural asset, on Thursday Oct. 19 at The House of the Good Shepherd Retirement Community in Hackettstown. The Pine Barrens encompasses about 1 million acres and represents the largest wilderness area anywhere on the east coast.
