Route 31 Shuttle Eases Commute, Local Errands

A brand new Route 31 Weekday Shuttle has launched to connect Oxford and Clinton. Stops include locations in Washington Borough and Washington Township. At a special ceremony held recently to officially announce the launch, Washington Borough Mayor Scott McDonald watches as Washington Business Improvement District (WBID) Vice President Ed Rossi is congratulated by Freeholder Ed Smith for his efforts in helping to push the effort to bring the Shuttle to Route 31. On right are Isabel Hernandez, NJ Transit Northern Regional Program Administrator, and Washington Township committeeman George Willan. The shuttle runs from Oxford to Clinton, and back, throughout the day Monday through Friday. There is a suggested fare of just $2 each way. Shuttle parking is available at select locations.
