This Sunday, Oct. 9, celebrate the Feast of Saint Francis by bringing pets of any shape and size for a special animal blessing! The event will take place out front of St. James’ Episcopal Church at 214 Washington St., Hackettstown. The blessing will begin at 11:30 a.m.

Animals of all shapes and sizes are invited, but should be leashed or in a proper traveling container.

Treasured stuffed animals are also invited to be blessed.

Participants need not be a member of the church to participate.
