Students Get Sneak Peek Of PR And Marketing

Mount Olive High School students Nikkole Burns and Joshua Dimatulac recently spent a day with Dan Hirshberg of CHP Communications, who owns a Warren County-based public relations and marketing firm, as part of the school’s annual job shadowing program. In the day-long program students experience a business of their choosing, typically one that they intend to go into after college, with a professional. As part of these two students’ experience they attended a Lunch ‘N Learn at Enzo’s in Washington where attendees learned about the importance of having a mobile-friendly website.

In this photo taken at the luncheon are L-R, Barbara Hetzel of Ridge Top Coaching, Andrea and Steve Kirchuk of Computer Images Web, Dimatulac, Burns, Joan Westpy of Westpy Marketing and John Monteverde, Executive Director of the Washington Business Improvement District, which sponsors the monthly Lunch ‘N Learns. A week later, Burns took her experience a step further and attended a Mount Olive Area Chamber of Commerce networking meeting, Marketing in the Morning.
