Volunteers Needed To Help With Butterfly Release

Volunteers are being sought to help out with this week’s June 10 Butterfly Release in Washington. Various times, details, and functions as follows:

The Warren County KAQ Hospice Butterfly Release will be held at Memorial School’s Karen Nash Memorial Butterfly Garden – 300 W. Stewart St., Washington Borough, starting at 8:30 a.m. set up,  9:30 Parking, Handicapped visitors may need assistance to use their wheelchairs across the grassy lawn.  10  and Noon Native Plant Sale,  10:15  Instructions for releasing butterflies, 10:30 Kids Crafts,  Noon Refreshments,  12:30 p,m, Clean up. Available students who wish to earn community service hours, or interested teachers/staff who would like to volunteer, are asked to please contact Diana Dove.  Warren Hills HS and Middle School students are asked to wear a  Warren Hills tee shirt that identifies a club or team, if you wish.

Butterflies will be released honoring  those among us and remembering those who have gone before us. If you find you are able to volunteer at the last minute,   just come to Memorial School on June 10th  and sign up to help there.
