The Washington Business Improvement District has three community festivals scheduled for this spring, all of which have vending opportunities.
All three events are on Saturdays and will take place in Downtown Washington. They include Warren County Arts, Sweets, and Crafts Festival on April 29, Sci-Fi Festival on May 20, and Washington Greenfest on June 3.
Warren County Arts, Sweets, and Crafts annually features dozens of regional artisans vying for cash prizes, as well as assorted resale vendors selling everything from clothing to “sweet products.” The afternoon also includes live music, demonstrations, poetry and short story readings, food, and an appearance by Mrs. North Jersey, Renee Smith.
The 3rd Annual Sci-Fi Festival has become an area favorite, with authors, unique vendors, live music, LARPing, food, and a host of participants dressed up in sci-fi costumes walking the streets, plus other surprises to be announced.
The Greenfest is all about the environment, featuring green products and services, with live music, kids’ activities, and demonstrations. The day also serves as the kickoff to the summer-long weekly Washington Farmers’ Market.
