One of the area’s most anticipated, and delicious, fall festivals is almost here. Pork Roll Palooza will once again take over Shappell Park in Phillipsburg and the surrounding streets for a full day of food, music, family fun, and community pride.

Norwescap is proud to host the 8th Annual Pork Roll Palooza in partnership with the Phillipsburg Downtown Association and Phillipsburg Arts Association, on Saturday, October 11, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Shappell Park, located at 353 South Main Street. Admission is free. In the case of severe weather, the rain date is Sunday, October 12. Updates are available at www.norwescap.org/pork-roll-palooza as well as Facebook and Instagram.

This year’s festival kicks off with a Morning Family Bike Ride through Phillipsburg, followed by a celebratory festival opening featuring local champions, including small businesses, community organizations, and the Phillipsburg Police Department. The day will launch with the sounds of a lively six-piece Mariachi Band, and later, the legendary Sensational Soul Cruisers will headline with their high-energy performance.

Guests can expect a full day of entertainment and activities:

• Food & Craft Market: 12 food vendors serving up pork roll favorites and more, plus 15 craft vendors offering handmade goods.
• Community Connections: Local nonprofits and organizations with outreach tables and engaging activities.
• Family Fun Zone: Free fun for kids with bouncy houses, face painting, OMG Bubbles, and a stilt walker.
• Live Music & Performances: Bands and entertainers throughout the day, ensuring something for everyone.
• Classic Contests & Games: Returning favorites like the Best Pork Roll Dish contest (sweet and savory), the Pork Roll Pig Races, and the Quoit Tournament.

This year’s event would not be successful without the support from McWane Ductile, First Commonwealth Federal Credit Union, Xfinity, and other community partners.
