FALL SHREDDING EVENT – Saturday, Oct 11

by HACKETTSTOWN ROTARY IS OPEN TO ALL

The eagerly awaited bi-annual Shredding Event will be held again this fall on Saturday, Oct 11  from 9am until noon (or until the truck is full)  on the grounds of the Fulton Bank parking lot at 176 Mountain Ave,  Hackettstown .  The cost will be $5 per bag or box, with all proceeds going to the many community organizations that the Rotary supports.

All communities are welcome to participate.

Jerry Galante, Hackettstown Rotarian and Director of the Hackettstown Library says, “I love that our Rotary Club provides this service to the community. A lot of people and businesses have sensitive documents that could be a liability if thrown out, so it is really important that we offer shredding. Plus, my lizard brain finds it fun to load the truck and have it shred things.”

Some of the 35 local organizations that the Hackettstown Rotary Foundation supports include: Abilities, Alina Lodge addiction recovery, The Arc of Warren County, CASA SHAW, DASACC (domestic abuse and sexual assault crises center), Gift of Life,  Hackettstown Library,  Scholarships for Hackettstown HS and Warren Cty Technical School  students,  Hackettstown Medical Center Foundation, Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice, Trinity and local food pantries,  and in the International Peace program—the Cure Blindness initiative of the Himalayan Cataract Project.
