PAL Pets Schedules A Weekend Full Of Events

Wagalicious Hennessy, left, and Purrfectly Proper Bruce, right, are just two of the homeless animals that will benefit from Pet Adoption League's fundraisers later this month.

Good food and good finds are the theme for a Pet Adoption League’s event-packed weekend in late April.

Kicking off the fun on Friday, April 22, PAL invites the public to leave the cooking to them as they host their 6th Annual Pasta Dinner. Running from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Panther Valley Ecumenical Church, dinner features an array of Italian dishes, including vegetarian options.

The menu includes baked ziti, pasta with plain sauce, eggplant balls, sausage and meatballs, salad, bread, dessert, and hot and cold drinks.

Cost for the dinner is an affordable $12 for adults and $6 for children six and under.

The church is located at 1490 Route 517 in Allamuchy.

On Saturday and Sunday, April 23-24, PAL takes part in Hackettstown’s town-wide yard sale. They will set up “shop” at The Grove Deli at the corner of Willow Grove and Pine Streets, across from the entrance to Willow Grove Elementary.

They will be set up from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days.

PAL is also organizing a Fill-A-Truck clothing drive, with a date in May to-be-determined. They will collect clothing, accessories, and bedding for all ages.

All proceeds from these events will directly benefit homeless animals in the area.
