The second annual Food Truck Fest at Donaldson Farms to benefit The Arc of Warren County will be held Saturday, Aug. 8!

The outdoor fundraiser will be held 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. and will include more than a dozen gourmet food trucks, craft beer and hard seltzer from Czig Meister Brewing Company, live bands, a DJ, and farm-fun safe activities throughout the day.

Donaldson Farms and Mega-Bite Events have collaborated for the second year to host this premiere food truck festival, which will feature delicacies from more than a dozen specialty food trucks, including Empanada Guy, Jersey Curbside Eats, Amanda’s Bananas and more.

Live music will be performed by The Emulators ‘80s Band and singer-songwriter blues artist, Katie Henry.

Family-friendly activities will include petting ponies, participating in boardwalk style games in a new Kids’ Zone, and trying their hand at Hatchet Tossing. The Arc of Warren County’s gift shop, Serendipity, will be selling candles, soaps, and jewelry.

Attendees are asked to bring their own picnic blankets and lawn chairs. Chairs with umbrellas are allowed, but no freestanding beach umbrellas or pop up tents are permitted for safety reasons.

SAFETY NOTE: Guests will be required to wear masks while walking and waiting in line to order and pick up food.  Once seated in their socially-distanced area, masks may be removed for eating and drinking as outlined in Governor Murphy’s Covid-19 guidelines. Some food trucks will offer text-to-order options to reduce food lines.

Sponsors include The House of the Good Shepherd (“Czig Meister” Biergarten Sponsorship), John Johnson Auto Group (Music Sponsor), Mutual of America (Kid’s Zone Sponsor) and Nisivoccia LLP (Pony Petting Area Sponsor). The following organizations will serve as Friendship Sponsors: Hunterdon Healthcare, Maguire-Scala Memorial Home, Inc., Panther Valley Pharmacy and Valley Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Lawn Sprinklers, LLC. Sponsorships are still being sought for additional sponsorship levels.

“I am so pleased that we can work with Donaldson Farms again this year and hold the 2nd Annual Arc of Warren County Food Truck Fest,” said John Whitehead, CEO of The Arc of Warren County.  “I hope it will provide families with the experience of a relaxing, safe and enjoyable day. It also provides the Agency with an opportunity to raise awareness about the organization.”

Cost to attend the Food Truck Fest is $5 for pre-sale adult tickets and $7 on that day. Children aged 10 and under are $3 in advance and $5 that day. Children under three are free. Tickets can be purchased at www.megabiteevents.com/festivals.

The Arc is a national organization that serves individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities and their family members since 1950.  The Arc of Warren County is one of 700 chapters of The Arc and has served more than 1,100 people annually for the past 66 years.  Programs include residential group homes and supervised apartments, day services, community-based supports, advocacy services, recreation and summer camp, Special Olympics training, early intervention and a wide variety of additional social services.
