Abilities celebrates a special evening

‘Diamonds in the Sky’ gala recognizes honorees, raises more than $42,000

More than 140 people gathered at the Architects Golf Club in Lopatcong, on April 22 for Abilities of Northwest Jersey, Inc.‘s annual Diamonds in the Sky gala. 

“It was a special evening to celebrate our own shining stars with our supporters, friends, staff, and trustees,” said Abilities CEO Cynthia B. Wildermuth. “The event helped us to raise more than $42,000 towards the continued expansion of innovative services for those in need.”

This year’s honorees were:

Individual Achievement Award winners Jessica DeJesus and Erin Quinn,  

Community Partner Award winner Atlantic Health System, 

Volunteer Award winner John Schmidt, and, 

Special Recognition Award winner the Pohatcong Police Department.
