In celebration of “Week of Respect” at Oxford Central School, John Morello, an actor, comedian, speaker, and author who travels around the country to convey his substance abuse and anti-bullying messages to schools and young adults recently appeared at Oxford Central School. Morello read poetry to 6th through 8th grade students as part of his one man show, “Dirt.”  The show addressed the issues of substance abuse and bullying. Afterwards, Morello visited classrooms and read poems from his book “Buckshot Words” to the students. He even gave an autographed copy to the teachers to add to their classroom library. Morello also met with the theater club students to give helpful tips on acting.
