Cathy Captures An Autumn Tradition

A family-friendly event to benefit NORWESCAP and The Arc of Warren County and their mission to help area families in need, the 11th Annual Grand Harvest Wine and Music Festival took place at Rutherfurd Hall, in Allamuchy, on September 30.

Participating New Jersey wineries were Brook Hollow Winery, Villa Milagro Vineyards, Villari Vineyards, and Cedar Rose Vineyards – all offered free tastings and bottles of wine for purchase. Craft beer was also on tap. Guests toured the historic mansion, took in the panoramic views, and sampled local food, all while enjoying the sounds of renowned area musicians Pentley Holmes, Jam-Bone, Steve Kirchuk, and Electric Gumbo, with Melanie Thiel as emcee.

Pictured left to right: Alicia Bailey, Manager of the Mansfield branch of PNC Bank, dancing to the sounds of Electric Gumbo, with her husband Ron; Pentley Holmes, local musician and former employee of The Arc of Warren County, currently on a solo tour of Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas and New Mexico; and Jim Buehler, NORWESCAP’s Board of Trustees vice chairman/secretary, and his good friend Kim Lovett relax on the great lawn at Rutherfurd Hall.

Cathy Miller, an award-winning photographer who’s been capturing the faces of Warren County for many years, has had her work appear in numerous publications, local, statewide, and beyond.
