Cathy Miller’s Person Photo of the Week captures a …. Living History, Learning History: A Multi-Faceted Look at the History of Warren County”

On April 14, the Washington Historical Society and Mansfield Lodge #36 of Free & Accepted Masons co-hosted the “Warren County History Expo” at the Lodge in Washington. Among the many activities, talks and demonstrations, was a Civil War encampment with re-enactors from the 44th Georgia Volunteer Infantry Company C who held a “camp of instruction” with musket firing, drilling and a camp fire. Clark VanBuskirk (pictured here), from Phillipsburg, portrayed a major with the Army of Northern Virginia, 2nd Battalion.
