Centenary Acting Veterans Featured in ‘Meteor Show’

Steve Martin’s “Meteor Shower” at Centenary Stage Company will feature veterans of the CSC – Emaline Williams as Laura, Scott McGowan as Gerald and Suzy Kimball as Corky as well as Christopher John Young, an instructor at CSC and also its general manager, as Norm.

The production will be directed by Carl Wallnau, CSC artistic director.

Performances are Feb. 18 through March 6 in the Sitnik Theatre of the Lackland Performing Arts Center at 715 Grand Avenue, Hackettstown. Tickets range from $25 to $29.50 for adults with discounts available for seniors, students, and children 12 and younger. For more information, go to centenarystageco.org or call the Centenary Stage Company’s box office at (908) 979-0900.

The play centers around a rare meteor shower. Corky and Norm invite Gerald and Laura to their home in the valley outside Los Angeles to watch a once-in-a-lifetime meteor shower. But as the stars come out and the conversation gets rolling, it becomes clear that Gerald and Laura might not be all that they appear to be. Over the course of a crazy, starlit dinner party, the wildly unexpected occurs.
