Two recent publications from Centenary University professors are garnering attention in their respective fields.

In Aging Behind Prison Walls: Studies in Trauma and Resilience (Columbia University Press, 2020), Keith Morgen, Ph.D., associate professor of psychology, examines a crisis brewing in the American prison system with co-author Tina Maschi, Ph.D., of Fordham University. In the book, they offer concrete proposals at the community and national policy levels for addressing the pressing issue of incarcerated older adults.

Meanwhile, Counseling Professor Alfonso Ferguson, Ph.D., received the 2020 Outstanding Counselor Education and Supervision Article award by the Association for Counselor Education and Supervision for his co-authored article, “Contributing factors to earning tenure among Black male counselor educators,” which was originally printed in the journal Counselor Education and Supervision.

Congratulations to these educators on their publications!
