A group of Sports and Entertainment Management students at Centenary University raised more than $700 for The Arc of Warren County through a virtual trivia night. It was held as part of a course assignment.

“Our professor asked us to support a non-profit that resonated with us,” said Ellie Roberts, Centenary student and group leader for the project.  She worked with fellow students Katie Holst, Eric Nugent and Wesley Peters.

“We were certain that we wanted to focus on an organization that supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities,” said Roberts. “We did some research and were all extremely impressed with The Arc of Warren County’s website.  As a result, we felt that this agency would be an ideal recipient of our fundraiser.”

Fellow Centenary student Nikolas Polizos took first place in the games. He was awarded a gift basket from Czig Meister Brewing in Hackettstown. Callie Pullis was the second-place winner.
