Centenary University Inducts Seven Students into Tri Beta, the National Biology Honor Society

Honor society members demonstrate excellence in the study of biology or related life sciences, achieving at least a 3.0 grade point average 

Centenary University recently inducted seven students into the Omega Rho Chapter of Beta Beta Beta, the national biology honor society. Also referred to as Tri Beta, the honor society requires members to have at least a 3.0 grade point average and complete 12 or more credits in biology or related life sciences.

Assistant Professors of Biology Yeon Lang Cha, Ph.D., and Cristiana Savorè, Ph.D., are co-advisors of Tri Beta. Dr. Cha said, “I am honored to be part of Tri Beta, the national biology honor society, where our students have excelled in fundraising and have also dedicated themselves to promoting the fascinating world of biology within our community. Centenary students are the driving force behind this wonderful initiative, and I look forward to witnessing the continued growth and success of Tri Beta.”
