Warren County is doubling the hours of its county-run COVID-19 Drive-Thru Testing Site, and extending hours of the call center that offers scheduling assistance.

“COVID-19 continues to rise in Warren County and, as such, we have seen an increased demand for testing,” said Freeholder James R. Kern III, liaison for health and public safety. “Our health department will help meet that need with increased capacity. Please continue to follow CDC guidance and get tested if you are showing symptoms. Early testing helps alert individuals and can reduce the spread in our community.”

Located at St. Luke’s Belvidere Health Center, 187 County Route 519, Belvidere, (White Township), the test site began operations on December 1 and has scheduled tests each Tuesday and Friday.

Starting tomorrow, Tuesday, Dec. 22, each testing day will run for four hours instead of two hours, with the test site operating from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The testing site will be closed Christmas day and New Year’s Day.

Testing is by appointment only and is open to Warren County residents. No walk-ins are accepted.  Residents must have symptoms to receive a test.

Schedule an appointment online. Residents who need help or have questions about appointment scheduling can call the testing site call center at 908-878-3188. For questions related to COVID-19, please call your primary care physician.

Call center hours also have been extended, so staff is available to take calls between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Insurance is accepted, but if you do not have insurance, the test is free.

Information on the county’s drive-thru testing site and other testing options is available on the County website.
