Craft Beers to be Highlighted in Library zoom event

Dave and Erin Andersen of Buttzville Brewing Co. will walk participants through a tasting of their craft beer on a Zoom program sponsored by the Warren County Library on Wednesday, Feb. 23, from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

After describing some key elements of the brewing process, Dave and Erin will go over some common terminology used by certified beer judges and explain the steps that go into tasting and evaluating a beer. Participants will then have the chance to put their new knowledge to work, tasting and discussing four beers.

Registered participants will be able to purchase a mixed four-pack of these beers at Buttzville Brewing Co. in Washington.

More Zoom On Tap

In another upcoming library Zoom event, which will be held earlier on Feb. 23, there will be a presentation session on how to download, watch or listen to favorite movies, books or music. The session will explore many of the more popular databases. Presenter is Lori Wascavage. This presentation takes place starting at 11 a.m. and goes to noon. On Feb. 24, one of the classics of sci-fi and/or horror depending on your perspective is Robert Louis Stevenson’s “The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, published in 1886. The Warren County Library is presenting a Zoom book discussion on Thursday, Feb. 24, from 6 to 7 p.m.

Earlier that day, from noon to 1 p.m., Sal Schibell, CPA. of Lawson, Rescinio, and Schibell will provide instruction in starting new business in a Facebook live chat.

Schibell will go over the various different structures that best benefit the needs and interests of each attendee. All have different criteria that the business needs to meet, and some are significantly more complicated than others. He will focus on the four main types of business structures that New Jersey companies tend to file as–LLC, Partnership. C Corp, and S Corp. Schibell will answer all questions related to the specific type of business and offer advice to all those that join us.
