DIY @ Home: Hackettstown Library’s Halloween Fun

Hackettstown Library members can take home some Halloween fun this month!

Teens can pick up a Grab n’ Go craft during Teen Read Week, Oct. 11-Oct. 17, which will include all the supplies for painting a spooky monster on canvas.

Then, this month’s Family Fun Night Kit is a DIY Halloween party – with a “blind book” surprise. Pick up all the makings of a great, crafty family party at home any time on Oct. 23, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Register early.

The DIY Halloween Party is part of a monthly Family Fun Night initiative where families can receive everything they need for a fun night in together. Parties include a “blind book,” which are wrapped like a present, checked out from the library, and opened up at home. This program is open only to library members who live within the Hackettstown town boundaries.

All take-home content is while supplies last.

The Hackettstown Public Library is located at 110 Church Street. Membership is open to those who live, work, attend school, or pay property taxes within Hackettstown. Some programs are limited to only town residents.

Those who have a Hackettstown mailing list but do not live within town boundaries should use the Warren County Library System, which is hosting its own Halloween activities this month.
