Elvis, Dragons Slated For Warren County Library

Library patrons (and their Hound Dogs) will enjoy the award-winning Elvis Tribute Artist and “Elvistorian” Ruben Castillo as he takes them on a tour through the pivotal moments in pop culture and US/World History from 1954 through 1959 on Tuesday, Oct. 25 at 6 p.m. at the Southwest Branch in Stewartsville.

Elvis’ journey from being the Hillbilly Cat through the Million Dollar Quartete, to Elvis the Pelvis and the Ed Sullivan Show, to The King of Rock ‘n’ Roll coincided with many important events in history and culture. Castillo will also perform some of Elvis’ songs from this time period of his career.

The event is geared to adult Elvis fans. Register with Kim Urban at (908) 818-1280 or kurban@warrenlib.org.

Dragons & Ice Sorceress

A Dry Ice Show: Dragons & The Ice Sorceress will entertain and educate patrons of the Warren County Library at the Northeast Branch on Thursday, Oct. 27, at 4 p.m.

It exposes kids to five important disciplines: science, technology, engineering, arts and math to develop critical thinking and creative problem solving. The science experiments will bring a story to life, and kids will be able to observe and ask questions as they learn about scientific concepts.

Register with your library card number on the website.
