Delaney Stewart, who graduated from Hackettstown High School in only three years, was among the rest of Centenary University’s Class of 2023 as they arrived on campus recently for Fresh Start, the University’s overnight summer orientation program for incoming students. Stewart, of Hackettstown, plans to become a teacher and chose Centenary for its outstanding Department of Education. At the orientation, first-year students met classmates and professors, taking their first steps toward their Future U, an initiative that encourages students to explore future career goals with the support of Centenary professionals in academics, career development, student services, and other areas.
