HKTWN Celebrates The Best of Hackettstown’s Businesses

James on Main received the Business of the Year Award at the Hackettstown BID's Business Awards Dinner.

On Monday, April 24 the Hackettstown BID celebrated the extraordinary Hackettstown Business Improvement District businesses at the Inaugural Hackettstown BID Business Appreciation Awards Dinner held at David’s Country Inn. In attendance were Hackettstown business owners, their staff, local dignitaries and community members.

The event started with opening remarks from the Hackettstown BID executive Director, Laurie Rapisardi and BID Chair Kathi Homenick, owner of Me to You Boutique. They welcomed the 120 guests to this special event. Senator Douglas J. Steinhardt spoke and awarded the honorees with an official citation. Commissioner Jason Sarnoski was also in attendance as well as Dan Hirschberg from Assemblyman John DiMaio’s office. The Hackettstown BID Board members attended and presented the awards.

Awards were presented to:
Business of the Year: James on Main
Business Person of the Year: Kyle Zack-Kilhaneys Pickles & House of Jerky
Rookie of the Year: Fromage, LLC
Community Partners: WRNJ & Mars Wrigley
Volunteer of the Year: Community Member Mary Litwhiler
Posthumous Award: Centenary University First Lady Colonel Jeanne Murphy
