Hope Chamber Slates Annual Candidates Night Oct. 15

The Annual Hope Area Chamber of Commerce Candidates Night, the only county-wide candidates night in Warren County, is scheduled for Tuesday Oct. 15, 7 p.m. at the Hope Grange, 128 Great Meadows Road.

Chamber’s format gives each candidate five minutes to present what they will do if elected.   It is not intended as a debate.Candidates are available to answer questions on a one to one basis following the program.

Invited candidates include: 24th District Assembly Republican incumbents Parker Space and Hal Wirths and Assembly Democratic challengers Deana Lykins and Dan Soloman Smith; Warren County Sheriff candidates, Republican incumbent James McDonald and Democratic challenger Scott McDonald; and Freeholder candidates, Republican incumbent Jason Sarnoski and Democratic challenger Carol Cook. 

In addition, the lone candidate for Hope Township Committee, John Kruk, will provide his views on the future of Hope.

Candidates Night is open to all and it’s free to attend. This year’s Election Day is scheduled for Tuesday Nov. 5.
