Hope Honors Gardner For Outstanding Service

Freeholder Director Rick Gardner, who announced earlier this year that he would not be running for re-election after serving the county for years, was recognized by the Hope Township Committee and the Hope Area Chamber of Commerce at the township’s annual Hope Appreciation dinner on Feb. 29.

Gardner was recognized for his 18 years of dedicated service to Warren County. Hope Township presented him with A Shining Star Award and the Hope Area Chamber of Commerce presented him with an Outstanding Achievement Award.

Gardner has long been a huge supporter of the Chamber and its efforts on behalf of the business community. The inscription on the Chamber’s certificate reads:

…”in grateful appreciation for 18 years of outstanding leadership on the Board of Freeholders and devotion to Warren county.”

It continues, “The difference between success and failure is often determined by one’s dedication. Your exceptional commitment to Warren County and its citizens has earned you our highest admiration and respect.”

Photo, Freeholder Director Rick Gardner recently received awards for his outstanding service to the County from Chris Maier, Hope Area Chamber of Commerce President, and the Township of Hope.
