Janet Fitzgerald Honored For Commitment To Seniors

Home Instead Senior Care of Hunterdon and Warren Counties has announced its CAREGiver of the Year for 2017, and it is Janet Fitzgerald of Great Meadows.

This award is presented annually to honor one of its CAREGivers, for their kindness, selflessness and dedication in making a difference in the lives of their clients and their families. Fitzgerald is a prime example of generational caregiving.

Soon after Home Instead took care of Fitzgerald’s mother, she came into Home Instead’s office in February 2006 and applied for work as a CAREGiver.  She said that she appreciated the help she’d received and realized how important a job care giving is.  She thought that she’d make a good CAREGiver as she had lots of experience and she now missed the two most important women in her life.

Fitzgerald (pictured with Home Instead owner Tracy Fazzolari on right) has become a seasoned veteran and is always eager to meet new clients. She provides compassion, respect and loving care logging over 9,000 hours of caregiving with her 40 clients throughout the years.  Her warm and pleasing personality has won her clients’ hearts.

For sure, Fitzgerald has the golden touch of caring when it comes to her clients.  Her nurturing nature, humor and kind sparking eyes reassure seniors that she is there solely for them. Her heart was made for giving and she is the recipe for a top CAREGiver.
