The Land of Make Believe’s newest ride, the Balloon Tower, recently “landed” at the Hope Township Family Amusement Park. The new ride, which came direct from Italy, rises high into the sky where folks can get a bird’s eye view of the entire park and its picturesque surroundings. Assemblyman John DiMaio (center) joined owners Christopher and Maria Maier for a ceremonial ribbon cutting on Aug. 19. Land of Make Believe, which features a host of rides for the whole family​​​​, as well as an expansive water park with thrill rides, is open daily through Labor Day Sept. 5 and then the following weekend, Sept. 10-11, for its Season-Ending Grand Finale.
