Library Awarded NJ STEM Month Grant

Warren County Freeholders Edward J. Smith, Richard D. Gardner, and Jason J. Sarnoski cut the ribbon to officially open the Warren County Library’s new Southwest Branch in Greenwich Township in September.

The Southwest Branch of the Warren County Library system was one of 20 organizations in the state to be awarded a 2019 NJ STEM Month Mini-Grant of $500. The grant is provided to support STEM initiatives, specifically during New Jersey STEM Month, held annually in March. The funds will be used to purchase a second 3D printer. The demand for 3D printing at the library has been very high, resulting in a backlog of projects.  The new printer will be used to reduce the backlog and will be available to other branches for STEM programs of their own.
