MOACC Launches Student Entrepreneur Program

Student entrepreneurs who own—or wish to start— their own businesses are invited to experience all that the Mount Olive Area Chamber of Commerce (MOACC) has to offer while gaining one-on-one mentorship from area professionals as part of a special program that begins in May.

The Student Entrepreneur Program, or StEP for short, runs May through August, and is open to current students aged 16-22 who either own their own business in the Mount Olive area or are interested in gaining insight into how to open their own business in the near future.

Students can be from anywhere in the Greater Mount Olive area. The Chamber has members in Mount Olive, Hackettstown, and the surrounding region.

For only a $25 membership fee, StEP participants gain access to all MOACC monthly events during their membership period, at no charge, which includes Marketing in the Morning, Women in Business, Lunch and Learn, and a Young Professionals Group. They will also be open to peer support through the StEP Support Academy at Centenary University.

Interested parties should apply on the Chamber website, www.mountolivechambernj.com. Applications are due by April 15.
