Mount Olive Chamber Names Scholarship Recipients

The Mount Olive Area Chamber of Commerce recently recognized five recipients from their annual scholarship awards, which include three high school students and two college students. The five were “virtually” recognized on the Chamber’s Facebook page.

Andres Cruz and Jessica Mok, both of whom attend Mount Olive High School, will receive a $750 scholarship. as will Dominick O’Melia of Hackettstown High School. Dylan Hanlon and Michael Lang, now at college, each earned a $500 scholarship toward their education through the MOACC Family Scholarship program, open to family members of current Chamber members.

Cruz is headed to Northeastern University in Boston as a Political Science and Economics major, while Mok is going to Villanova University seeking a degree in Accounting and Finance.

O’Melia is attending NJIT in the fall to work on a degree in Industrial Engineering and Marketing.

Hanlon, the son of MOACC member Craig Hanlon, is a student at Rutgers University where he studies Finance and Supply Chain Management. Lang, the son of Michael Lang, attends CCM where he is seeking a degree in Teacher Ed and Math.

The Chamber’s scholarship program is just one of many ways it commits to being a part of the community at-large. For more about the chamber and what it does for business and the community, visit www.mountolivechambernj.com.
