Operation Toy Train Returns to Warren Dec. 4

Operation Toy Train, sponsored by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, will be making a triumphant return to Warren County on Saturday, December 4th, making four stops along the way starting at approximately 12:25 p.m.

The train is scheduled to go into Port Murray at 12:25 by the post office, then Washington by Borough Park at 1:15, Stewartsville at the Warren Street Grade Crossing at 2:40, and finally Phillipsburg at 3:30 at the Brainard Street Playground.

There are some dropoff boxes in the county for new unwrapped toys, however, they can also be brought to any of the stops along the train route.

Operation Toy Train is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that operates a special annual collection train in northern New Jersey and southern New York during the first two weekends of December. Each year, the train collects over 20,000 donated toys for the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Foundation, which redistributes them to underprivileged children within the collection area.
