Oxford Archery Team Wins 15th Straight NJ Title

For the 15th year in a row the Oxford Central School Archery Team won the New Jersey State Archery Championship.

The Oxford team outshot more than 13 other schools that participate in the National Archery in the Schools Program, one of the largest youth sporting organizaitons in the country.

The team and their families will be travelling in May to Louisville, KY, for the Eastern National Championships to be held Friday, May 13.

The archers are in grades six through 8. They compete locally with teams from Warren Hills Middle School and High School and Harmony and White Township Schools. A total of 20 New Jersey Schools have teams.

The coach at Oxford since 2006 is Rob Causton, a health and physical education teacher, pictured below with Warren County Commissioner Director Jason Sarnoski who offered his congratulations.
