Persons Of The Week Are Hall Of Fame Caliber!

By Cathy Miller

It was a night to remember as six very worthy individuals were inducted into the Warren County Hall of Fame this past Saturday.

Gary Gray, Dr. Nick Avallone, Carolyn Wolf, Paul Sterbenz and Charlie Fineran, along with Marie Maier, posthumously, got the call to the Hall of Fame. Additionally, the Washington Rescue Squad, represented by its president, Charlies Van Deursen, received a Special Recognition award, and Warren Community College graduate and current news reporter for Channel 69 in Allentown, was the recipient of the WCC Foundation Award.

The event, held at Hawk Pointe, was presented by the Warren Community College Foundation. Musical entertainment was provided by the 3 Lelicas.

The Hall of Fame Recognition Dinner is held annually. If you know of someone who is Hall of Fame worthy with ties to Warren County, you can email samir@warren.edu with your nomination suggestions.
