The House of the Good Shepherd retirement community in Hackettstown bid farewell to CEO Deborah Beards last week. Beards, who has helped literally thousands and thousands of seniors over the years, retires after many years of service at The House and elsewhere. Assemblyman John DiMaio, representing the 23rd District, presented a state proclamation to Beards in recognition of her efforts. Staff (pictured above, Beards in center) and board members (pictured below, Beards in center) joined in the celebration held at Mattar’s in Allamuchy. Staff presented Deb with a beautiful pair of earrings as a going away present.
