The Warren Community College Visiting Authors Series resumes on Thursday, October 15, with a reading by novelist Jeff W. Bens. This event, which can be accessed through the link found below, begins at 7:00 p.m. and is free and open to the public.

Jeff W. Bens is the author of the novels Albert, Himself (Delphinium Books) and The Mighty Oak (Blackstone Publishing). His short fiction and essays are published widely. Bens was a founding faculty member of the School of Filmmaking at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. He currently directs the Manhattanville College’s undergraduate creative writing program and teaches both undergraduate and graduate workshops in fiction and screenwriting. In a September 2020 starred review, Publishers Weekly calls The Mighty Oak “blistering” and “superb.”

The Visiting Authors Series is supported by a grant from the Warren County Division of Cultural & Heritage Affairs. All physical site facilities comply with ADA regulations and are fully accessible. Sign language interpretation for any VAS event is available with two weeks’ notice.
