Warren County Habitat Needs To Fill Positions

Warren County Habitat for Humanity ReStore has three job openings.

All are part-time, paying $15 to $17 per hour at the store at 384 Route 57, Washington Township (Warren County). Schedules are flexible.

The front end associate/cashier will process transactions and provide customer service.

Responsibilities include: process sales transactions, calculate and return change when required by the payment method; answer customer questions about products or services; provide excellent customer service to donors and customers; adhere to and reinforce ReStore policies and procedures; scan sales floor for sold items to replace with new merchandise, work well with staff, volunteers and customers; answer telephone and provide ReStore information, directions, meeting the caller’s needs; attend or participate in training as needed or required.

Cashier experience is preferred but not required. Some weekend work is required.

Also available is a position for warehouse associate who will assist with customer service, inventory and handling donated items. Responsibilities include: loading and offloading donated items from truck into back area of ReStore, processing and organizing donated items; ensure donors and customers are given excellent customer; adhere to and reinforce ReStore policies and procedures; scan sales floor for sold items to replace with new merchandise; screen donations for product usability; maintain an effective working relationship with staff, volunteers, and customers; answer telephone and provide information and directions; daily cleaning and straightening of the truck and ReStore warehouse; and attending and participating in training.

Applicants must be able to lift 75 pounds with assistance.

The third job available is truck driver for pick-up and unloading donations from around Warren County, 30 hours per week.

Donations Driver will be responsible for picking up donations in a timely manner, responding to multiple calls per day and creating an efficient route. Donations may include anything from small household decor to large couches, tables, or chairs.

Responsibilities include safely drive truck to and from ReStore and sites of donation pickups and unload donated items into back area of ReStore for processing; commit to a schedule and pick up donations in a timely fashion; daily cleaning and straightening of the truck and ReStore warehouse; attend or participate in training as needed or required.

No CDL is required. Applicaants must have a valid drivers’ license with no major traffic violations and three years minimum driving professionally. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance.
