Warren County Hot Air Balloons, Fun & Games Festival To Be A True ‘Community’ Event at College

Hot Air Balloons will once again take to the skyways the weekend of Sept. 24-26 (Friday-Sunday) when the 1st Annual Warren County Hot Air Balloons, Fun and Games Festival launches at Warren Community College launches at its Washington Township campus on Route 57.

The event, which runs until 8 p.m. each night, is more than just hot air balloons. This event is intended as a community-wide celebration with non-profits invited to participate and use the 3-day affair to raise funds for their respective organizations.

“This is our way of not only including the community but also giving the non-profits an opportunity and place to set up a booth so that they can make it a fundraiser,” said Event Organizer Giulia Grotenhuis, who is working with Warren Community College in presenting this event. “The past year has been a tough one for non-profits and hopefully they can participate and raise money for their groups.”
