Dubbed the “Hidden Gem” of Triathlons, July 15, 2023 marked the 7th Annual TRI Mountain Lake Sprint Triathlon presented by The Arc of Warren County and produced by DASH Multisport. Over 140 athletes ranging in age from 20 to 75 competed in the challenging race through the beautiful Mountain Lake area of Belvidere. They swam (1/4 mile), biked (15 miles), and ran (3 miles), all for a great cause! On an overcast morning, with fog hanging over the mountains, the competition began at 8:15 am and wrapped up around 10:30 am, well before the sun broke through, sending the temperature and humidity skyrocketing.
